Ventana Rosa by Tlacaelel Trujillo y Fuentes on view this summer at the Millicent Rogers Museum!
We're honored to celebrate the breathtaking artistry of Patricio Tlacaelel Trujillo y Fuentes, whose work "Ventana Rosa" is featured in the Chicanao: Caminos Distintos exhibition, running June 6 – November 2, 2025.
Ventana Rosa is a radiant fusion of intricate geometry and bold color — a contemporary homage to the rose windows of grand cathedrals, reimagined through Tlacaelel’s masterful cut-paper technique. With every delicate incision and vivid hue, the piece transforms tradition into innovation, honoring Mexican craftsmanship while redefining it through a Chicano lens.
